Hello Aldersly residents and family members:
These past eight months have been a challenge and we thank you for your continued support of our community and of each other. Today, I have good news to share.
As I shared with you in previous letters, we are following a three-phased approach to reopening Aldersly based on state and county criteria, advice from public health officials and the health status of our community. Marin County has continued to stay steady in the fight against the virus and received permission to move to the next tier in the reopening process. This good news allows Aldersly to move forward in our process to reopen our community.
Effective on November 2nd, our community will enter Phase Two of the reopening process. Although physical distancing and masks will still be required, a detailed listing of the phase two re-opening guidelines will be included with this letter.
We are all excited to see Marin County’s success curtailing the virus while the entire country is seeing a surge in active cases. As we move into this next phase, we must continue to act with caution. In the event we experience an increase or resurgence of the coronavirus in our community or in the region, it may be necessary to revert to a previous phase or modify precautionary measures. We will keep you informed as we continue to monitor the situation and evaluate information as we go forward, hoping to move to the next phases soon.
I am grateful for your ongoing support during this challenging time and I ask that you act with prudence in the upcoming weeks. Let’s keep Aldersly COVID free and enjoy these additional opportunities while following proper guidance.
